LEK – Villa River & Villa Elephant

LEK is a Thai painter who pays tribute to his culture by dedicating his work to “changs” (elephants in Thai). As both an artist and a technician, he masters aluminium, wood carving, and pastels like no one else. His expertise serves a deep purpose, drawing viewers into introspection as they observe elephants confronting the elements.

BIRD – Villa Ocean & Villa Monkey

BIRD is a Thai painter known for his play with light and textures, using bamboo, gold leaves, and bold acrylics in his creations. His paintings captivate the viewer, pulling them into a state of deep contemplation—leaving you to wonder: are you watching the painting… or is the painting watching you?

NIRAN – Villa Jungle & Villa Parrot

NIRAN began with delicate watercolor depictions of horse movements and now focuses on Thai temples, monks, and vibrant acrylic compositions. His style blends watercolors and oils, often highlighting orange-robed monks against minimalist white backgrounds. His works are elegant, contemplative, and full of emotion.

APICHAT – Villa Bird

From Chiang Mai, APICHAT creates artwork that embodies delicacy and presence. His use of fine lines and subtle colors draws attention to the beauty of small details. His paintings offer a meditative perspective, teaching us to find joy in the simplicity of everyday life.

Franck Plancoulaine – All Villas’ Outdoor Walls & Luxury Tents

Franck Plancoulaine is a renowned French surrealist painter who now resides in Thailand. With an international career that began alongside Salvador DalĂ­, Franck has developed a unique and imaginative style. At Khwan Beach Resort, his frescoes adorn the exterior walls of every villa, and his work is also present throughout all luxury tents. His vision has given the resort its artistic signature.

FRANCK & CAROLINA – Custom Resort Decoration

This French artist duo specializes in trompe-l’oeil, stone-effect painting, and decorative murals. With over 36 years of experience across France and Spain, their work has reached a global audience. Carolina curates sculptures and paintings and also launched an art gallery in the South of France. Franck, a painting restorer for the Louvre, has participated in over 200 exhibitions worldwide. At Khwan Beach Resort, they were given carte blanche to transform each villa into a unique work of art.
